I loved watching the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. There is something about the Olympics that just makes me feel proud to be an American and realize that people have to do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals. Watching and listening to everyones story, you become attached to your countries athletes and root from them even if you don’t really care for their sport, i.e. Curling.
My favorites were Ice Skating, Ice Dancing and watching Shaun White kick ass in Snowboarding. My absolute favorite event of the entire Olympic Games were the Closing Ceremonies. It was great to watch Canada shine and really soak in their successful Olympic Games. I also enjoyed Sochi, Russia’s display and I am excited to see what they bring to the Games in 2014. Watching William Shatner, Michael J. Fox and Catherine O’hara joke and thank everyone for being at the Games was great. They were a great addition to the ceremonies, but the show stopper for me was absolutely, positively, without a doubt, there are no words Michael Bublé. I love him. That sums up my feelings for him. Every song, every show, every video and every smile; he is gold.
Sad the Olympics are over, but now counting down the days until London 2012!!!!!
