JK Rowling and her amazing brain…obviously I woke up one hour too early to check out her latest addition to the world of Harry Potter. http://www.Pottermore.com
And as I wait patiently to register, I am surprised the internet has not crashed completely, it just says that the Page is not found. Its ok JK, I will register for your site. Because I love and respect you as a writer and want to see what this is all about. Plus the graphics during the video were OUT OF CONTROL.
90’s Nickelodeon T.V. programming, who doesn’t? If you are a young twentysomething like me, you probably feel the same way. I was SO excited to hear the TeenNick is bringing back some of our favorites via Entertainment Weekly, my go to for anything news worthy. Click here to read more!
Harry Potter. On New Years Eve, Amanda, Eric, Steve and I went to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios to celebrate! It was such a fun day. We managed to go on pretty much every ride we wanted too, we got Steve on the Hulk even though he was scared and we watched fireworks at midnight. 🙂 Best of all, we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the newest attraction in IOA. It was great to see Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (WHICH WAS FREAKING AWESOME) and to have a chocolate cauldron. I can’t wait to go back and do it all over again!!! I also got to use my new camera which was amazing as always. I don’t know what life was like before this camera.
Posting on my blog. I’ve decided that I want to blog a little more, and I am starting now because its a new year! I will be posting on my blog once a day for all of 2011.
I know its going to be tough, but I have a feeling it is going to be worth while. A couple of days ago I bought a journal to do a new creative project for 365 days. I am starting it when I get to Gainesville so everyone will be in for a treat. I will post my little projects and hope to get feedback and ideas from all of my beloved readers. I plan to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.
If you read my blog, I LOVE you and I hope you comment more in the year 2011 to help me on this journey!
Crafting. Today I found inspiration by clicking my way through the internet. My inspiration comes from all over, but I definitely have a thing for simplicity and color. And that is exactly what you get with this craft. I found this AMAZING INCREDIBLE WONDERFUL CRAFTY blog today and I cannot get enough of it. It is SO inspiring and it has now become a staple on my top sites, Alisa Burke 🙂
What I love about this craft is that you can do whatever color combination you want and use different ribbon as the actual headband. I just used what I had around the house because I wanted to try out the craft as soon as I could. Its simple but elegant and all you need is scissors, ribbon of your choice, needle, thread and a hot glue gun.
